General Description:
Introducing our Assembled Flexible PCB, built on a 0.15mm polyimide substrate with a Tg of 60°C, specifically designed for portable sound systems. This 2-layer flexible PCB features a white silkscreen on a yellow coverlay (solder mask) covering both sides, with immersion gold plating on the pads. A polyimide stiffener is applied at one end of the board. The base material is sourced from Shengyi, providing 34 PCBs per panel. Each board is fabricated according to IPC 6012 Class 2 standards using supplied Gerber data, with 25 panels packed for shipment.

Clarifications of FPC:
Flexible circuit boards can be categorized into two types based on the combination of base materials and copper foils: adhesive and non-adhesive flexible boards. Non-adhesive flexible PCBs, while more expensive, offer superior flexibility, bonding force, and solder flatness, making them ideal for high-demand applications. In contrast, adhesive flexible PCBs are more common in the market due to their lower cost.
Economy of Using FPC:
For simple circuit designs with small total volume, traditional internal connections may be cheaper. However, flexible circuits become the preferred option for complex circuits requiring multiple signals or specific electrical/mechanical criteria. When rigid circuits cannot meet size and performance requirements, flexible assemblies provide an economical solution, especially with smaller pad sizes and spacing, ensuring reliable chip mounting without the need for connectors.
